Description
Let’s explore Nicosia together!
We will be taking a walking tour in Nicosia to identify the sustainability challenges faced both in the city and the island in general. We touch on the topics of mobility, energy, urban planning, waste, water/wastewater, and climate change, and how these affect our lives.
The walking tour will be exploring discussion on the following questions: How can we create a truly sustainable future for our city/island? Can we come up with a common vision?
The walk will start and finish at Home for Cooperation and will include both sides of the buffer zone. Therefore, ID cards and a valid negative test result based on your vaccination status will be needed for the crossings. Please keep in mind that the printed version of vaccination and negative test result documents must be shown at the checkpoints. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
