Description

Home for Cooperation opened its doors to the public on 6th of May, 2011 as a research and educational center. In 14 years, this landmark building, facilitated numerous collaborations, friendships, families.. it transformed the buffer zone itself.
Today, the Home, is an intercommunal community center, actively working on innovative and creative ways towards reconciliation and conflict transformation; while continuing to provide its physical space for other individuals and organizations, activists, researchers, artists and more to implement their own ideas and for further interaction.
On the 4th of May, Sunday, we invite you to celebrate all we achieved together through the years. Honoring several ways we have engaged with each other, the celebration program will present a range of activities to choose from!

Join the Bike Bus and ride around Nicosia!
The H4C is celebrating and we are riding around town to show it! As part of our 14th anniversary celebrations, the H4C is teaming up with OPU Collective and Marios Antoniou, for a Bike Bus Ride that starts at OPU and ends at the Home for Cooperation, riding around the streets of Nicosia and exploring its cultural heritage landmarks.
Come join from the beginning, or join the “bike bus” on any of its stops. We will be riding collectively along the Pedieos linear park, through old and new neighbourhoods and across crossing points in a true celebratory ride featuring Nicosia’s multi-cultural character. Grab your bike and see you there!
