Connecting the Dots Project: Call for Applications

Activity: ACT NOW – Major’s Conference
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 3rd of April 2022
DATES:
– May 6th-10th, 2022 in Stuttgart / Germany
– September 19th-23rd, 2022 in Antwerp and Brussels / Belgium
The call for participants for the ACT NOW Mayor’s conference and the Antwerp/Belgium visit under the project is now open. The Mayors Conference brings together local leaders/representatives from around the world with the aim to strengthen participatory democratic features. There are four main topics that will be addressed during the activities: Economic Transformation, Climate Action, Democratic Solution and Social Cohesion.
Eligibility requirement: Participants needs to be based in Cyprus through out the time of the project and be aged between 18 and 30.
The participants are expected to join both programs in Stuttgart and in Brussels & Antwerp. The traveling and accommodation costs will be covered by the program.

ACT NOW Mayor’s Conference – Agenda
6 May: Arrival at Stuttgart; check-in at the hotel; joint diner with the organizers and all participants
7 May: Workshop day with the whole group
8 May: Time to explore Stuttgart; 2 pm opening ceremony of the ACT NOW Mayors’ Conference
9 May: Mayors’ Conference Day
10 May: Depending on your departure time, you can join field trips (see conference program) in the morning, or leave Stuttgart for your journey back home.
