*A Collective Dream – Open Call for Emerging Artists
This is an Open call to participate in an intercommunal artistic project, funded by Creative Europe (European Union) and Goethe-Institut, that will take place at Home for Cooperation (Nicosia) from the 24th to 27th August.
*A collective dream is a performing arts project of participatory and social dimensions, which uses dreams as raw material, to create new collective narratives through theatre, plastic arts, and physical expression.
The concept around which this project is composed consists of dreams, the subconscious, and the disordered images we see when we are in a dream state. Our principal aim is to create a safe and free space for dialogue, artistic exchange, and co-creation between young artists (18-35 years old) from different backgrounds.
The project will be gradually developed (or the project consists of 4 consecutive collaborative workshops).

Who are we?
We are Christina Eleftheriadou (CY) and Laura Ginestar (ES), two emerging performing artists interested in artistic projects with social impact.
Christina Eleftheriadou is a Cypriot theatre designer based in Madrid. She received her Integrated Master in Theatre from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), with focus on Set, Costume and Light Design.
Currently, she is part of the artistic and technical team of LaJoven, collaborating in projects that are presented in main stages of Madrid like Teatro Abadia, Circo Price etc. She has participated in various projects, some of them presented in theatre institutions of Greece and European festivals including Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space.
Laura Ginestar is a Spanish actress and cultural manager based in Madrid. She received her double bachelor’s in journalism and media Studies from University Carlos III of Madrid. She focused on cultural communication and artistic creation. At the same time, she received her performing arts degree at the Drama Arts School “Work in Progress”.While at University, she participated in the Erasmus and the International Mobility program.
Currently, she works as a performer, stage and film actress, and as cultural manager at Fundación Teatro Joven.
